Registration

  • The first deer hunt of 2017 at the Herring Farm will be Sept 16th. Spots are limited and will be first registered and paid are the first to go. We will offer 5 spots. The cost is only $25 for the hunt. Everyone is expected to decide before the hunt where they will have their deer processed and any cost from that is up to the person who shoots the deer. Coach B will be happy to transport your deer for you. Keep in mind just down the road from the Herring Farm is the "One Price Deer Processor" and they have done several deer for us in the past completely for under $100.

Hunters are asked to shoot only bucks bigger than their biggest. Does are fine to take as long as there are no fawns with them. IF YOU SEE A DOE BY IT SELF DO NOT SHOOT... IT'S A YEARLING BUCK.

Everyone must have TAGS in SC for bucks or does and these should be bought from DNR before the hunt. We suggest getting them before the season starts to be sure to have them on hand. Anyone without tags will not be able to hunt by SC law.
